We Need Your Urgent Help!

URGENT: We need help to pay $13,000 in vet bills so we can keep rescuing cats and kittens.

Right now we are unable to take in any more animals until this bill is paid.

Christmas and New Year may feel like a long time ago… but for us, the impact of that period is still very real.

As one of the only rescues open over the holidays, we received a huge influx of cats and kittens. Many arrived incredibly sick, and some were emergencies that had to be rushed straight to our vets.

At the time we were already at full capacity… and we truly struggled.

But how could we say no to these tiny souls when there was no one else to help them?

Rescue doesn’t stop for holidays.

It’s 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Even now, more than two months later, we are still trying to get some of those kittens healthy. Many came in with such severe conditions that their recovery has been long and complex.

Like little Jaws.

His name came from the moment he nearly ate the Churu packet along with the food inside – he was that starving
He arrived emaciated, in terrible pain, and suffering from a severely ulcerated eye.

He was rushed straight to our amazing vet team and has now been receiving multiple treatments every day for 7 weeks. His eye has improved, but we still don’t know yet if it can be saved

Then there is tiny Mali.

She was found trapped in a tiny gap under a slab of concrete. She was terribly underweight, only around four weeks old. Her eyes were glued shut with infection and pus, her nostrils clogged with dried mucus, and she was struggling to breathe through her mouth.

It is one of the most heartbreaking things to see in such a tiny kitten.

Thanks to intensive treatment from her vet team and the incredible care of her foster carers, Mali is now making wonderful progress. If all continues to go well, we are hopeful she will soon be strong enough to receive her vet work and finally be adopted

These are just two of the many kittens who came into care over the holiday period desperately needing help.

When they arrive, their survival always comes first. We never hesitate to get them the treatment they need.

But now we urgently need help to cover the cost of that care.
